  ELECTION DAY!

In the last eight years as President of the Nether Providence Board of Commissioners, I have observed the great people of the NPGOP who continue to work behind the scenes as volunteers, aides, assistants, contributors, coaches, and in many other roles to support the great Township in which we live.  Everywhere I visit, religious venues, sports fields, charity functions, or neighborhood activities, there is always a local Republican involved. It is because of this that makes us a strong organization.

The current Board of Commissioners have been working diligently on everyone’s behalf, whether it is keeping taxes down, increasing the police focus on crime and traffic issues, or keeping residents informed of Township happenings.

As an organization we are very fortunate to have recruited Kelly Pennoni as the 4th Ward Candidate, and Caroline Reilly as the 2nd Ward Candidate.  These two individuals have great passion and work ethic.  I am convinced that they will win in November.  Robert O’Connor will run again in the 6th Ward for his 5th term.  Robert is longest standing commissioner on the Board and I am very confident that with his tireless work, he will once again retain his seat.  Newcomer Bob Kelly will run for School Board in Region 2 and with his great reputation for being very involved in the community, he has a great shot to win.  Lastly, Christine Rossi will be running for Tax Collector.  She will be extremely diligent in handling a very important post in the Township.  Christine is a life-long resident and very detail oriented which she will use to gain victory.

This upcoming election will need all hands on deck. We will need tremendous support and help from all of our Nether Providence Republicans to ensure our ticket wins.
